Study Books

HATRIQA’s study books prepare students to communicate in the football world: at the training ground; before, during, and after a game; in conversation with the media and with fans.

Created by an award-winning team from University College London, all our study books are 100% based on football and, as such, are designed to be fun and engaging, while helping to quickly boost learners’ confidence.

We have 3 types of study books: Textbooks, Workbooks and Language Learner Notebooks.

Textbooks

For use with a teacher or self-study, this is where we give a comprehensive introduction to target language, making sure learners fully understand it and have a chance to use it.  

Within each unit the exercises start quite simple and slowly build in difficulty, so learners will always feel confident and ready for the next step.

Workbooks

The workbooks are a companion for the textbooks. They are self-study books allowing learners to work at their own pace and review and consolidate the content from the book.  Each unit mirrors the same unit from the textbook, making it easy to navigate, and contains answers in the back of the book.

Language Learner Notebooks

HATRIQA’s Language Learner Notebooks are football-themed vocabulary notebooks for English Learners. They are easy to use and work with the Football English textbooks to help you remember language more quickly. The books are organized by football themes with each section featuring a vocabulary quiz and a profile of a legendary player.
